No reason to think about rain until 48 hours out.

@Honeylife this may seem really random, but are you getting married at Wolf Lakes in Fresno? If so, we have the same venue!

ETA: I didn't majorly creep on yo or anything. Your venue just sounds a lot like mine so I looked up the forecast for Sunday and saw a 60% chance of rain.

The weather can change! It was supposed to rain on my friend's wedding day, but not only was the day beautiful, the rain held off for hours until after the ceremony.

We got married Saturday during a hurricane. I got a call in the limo on the way to the venue that the walls of the tent we were getting married in had blown away and we went to rain plan B. It all worked out and everything was perfect. We're married and on cloud 9. It will all be fine!

DH works for one of the local news stations. One of the meteorologists there told us not to focus on weather forecasts until about three days out, especially in regards to rain. You still have the better part of a week so anything can happen. It rained all morning on our day but stopped by the time we needed to take photos and ended up being a beautiful evening!

@Honeylife YES. We looked at Holland Park West as well but it just fell flat in comparison. We have the Lakeside venue. Smiley smile

Who are you using for cake, flowers, etc?

I know you have your vision and I hope it doesn't rain on you but rain on your wedding day is actually good luck. So if it does rain think of it like that!

My best friends wedding.. her forecast was ugly ... I woke up and it was so dark outside.:: she also had an outdoor wedding... about two hours before the ceremony, we were getting our hair done, walked outside and it was gorgeous out! Sun shining! The sky looked fake that's how blue it was. Keep your head up

We had a cold and rainy and windy forecast a week out, and it all cleared up into the most gorgeous day. Try not to stress yet! Fingers crossed for you.

The weather may change, it rained all day on our wedding day, luckily it stopped for about 20 mins so we quickly ran out and got a few outdoor pics with our bridal party. about 75% of the pictures were taken indoors. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck Smiley smile

My forecast has flip flopped back and forth between rain and no rain about 20 times in the last two weeks. Breathe! You're marrying the love of your life and rain ain't gonna change that! Does it suck? Yup. But make the best out of it! You could always go back and take non pro pics with the dress in the garden?

I'm worried about rain too. My ceremony will (hopefully) be outside. But, I'm just going to try and remember (if I see any rain coming down) that the weather can't stop me and my best friend from getting married. I love that guy!
