I'm sorry! Try to stay positive, we have a 70% chance also. I'm holding out for that day though, you never know what's going to happen.

It rained throughout my entire wedding.. and i mean it f****** POURED. But my hubby and I had our first dance in the rain. Smiley smile it was so special and romantic and the saying goes "you can plan a pretty picnic but you cant predict the weather". Don't worry about it! Rent a few large tents and you'll be ok!

Don't stress yet! For the 13 days leading up my wedding, they were calling for a 100% chance of storms all day. It ended up raining (more like monsooning) for 20 minutes leading up to our ceremony and that was it! Moral to the story: the forecast will change between now and then. Don't waste your energy worrying about it yet! No matter what happens, the day will end and you'll be married to the love of your life! Just enjoy it!

The week of my wedding, it said 50% chance of rain right up until a couple days before.....and the day ended up being completely sunny! weather forecasts can change so much in just a few days, so try to stay optimistic! I hope the rain stays away for your big day!! :-)

There is still a ton of time for the weather to change. A week before our wedding it was saying sunny and 75, well then it turned into 90% chance of rain and 60's. I came to terms with our plan B inside ceremony, but I was mourning our outdoor photos (and my hair) so badly that I was like a walking storm cloud myself. Turned out that it stopped raining shortly before our ceremony (still had it inside though) but we got all of our photos outside and the overcast lighting was perfect, that's my favorite lighting for photos so I couldn't be happier!

Try not to worry, weather changes so much. My best friend got married about a month ago, I want to share a post with you (she was freaking out for the entire week before):

    Friend FB post yesterday:

Post wedding confession #1: I may or may not have booked our photographer before we were even engaged.

And here is a small glimpse why Smiley smile

We, or I, obsessively watched the weather the week prior to our wedding, even though everyone said not to. As it got closer, and saw the forecast of 80% chance of rain between 1-2pm...I kinda laughed thinking, it would be a good story to tell. Looking through our 876 photos, I can't imagine not having the umbrellas, and how every aspect of the day was captured so perfectly, rain and shine. It was simply beautiful, stunning. We can laugh about it now, (though I was laughing about it then). Did anyone else catch that our recessional song was "Here Comes the Sun?! Here are a couple of my favorite umbrella photos. They just wouldn't be the same without the umbrellas!

Date twin, stop checking the weather! It's too soon!!! In NJ I'm still at a cloudy day with a rainy evening. It changes every day. It will be beautiful, rain or not! Now stop checking! Smiley smile

Our engagement photos were yesterday. All week it said 60-90% chance of rain. I woke up yesterday morning and it said 7% chance and we didn't get any! It was a little cloudy but no rain! Weather reports change so don't freak out yet!!

It rained all day on my wedding. My photographer suggested clear umbrellas you can pick them up at target. My dress was ruined before the ceremony because my bridesmaids were too occupied with themselves to help me with my dress.

I feel you! I'm trying to do as pp's suggest and not obsess over it but I can't help it. Right now is 80-90% chance of rain, wind 15-20mph with gusts up to 40. Of course I have a plan B... but it is plan B for a reason. I'm okay with rain during the reception if I can get some breaks for pics and walking down the aisle. We shall see!

It could all change the night before! and...just google 'wedding photo rain". Photographers can do gorgeous creative things with it!

You might source a few clear plastic umbrellas and still do that photoshoot in the garden you wanted, too.

It was suppose to rain all day the day of wedding up and be 78°. The day of it was sun shining and 91°. It still has plenty of time change. We had already decided that if it did rain we would make it fun and get photos in the rain.

It's still super early! Anything can happen within the week! A week before my wedding and all throughout the week it said it was going to rain. On my wedding day there was no rain until 10 pm when the wedding was over. Granted it was the hottest day of the summer where I live but it was worth it. Do not let the weather get you down. You are still marrying the love of your life!
