I was considering it however Sams Club has a reasonable wedding collection. All you have to do is buy/rent the vases and place the flowers in water for your centerpieces. The bouquets are all pre made.

I’m doing mine myself. Sams club and Costco has great prices on fresh flowers and all you need is the flowers, craft wire and ribbon! It will be for my bridesmaids and centerpieces. Saving money on flowers for groom and groomsmen’s flower and doing pocket squares included with rental and my bouquet is going to be a brooch bouquet!

I am actually use artificial foam flowers. I honestly couldn't love them more. Highly surprised by them and it made it so easy for us to assemble them 3 months in advance!

I used fake flowers! It wasn’t as hard as I expected, just time consuming.

I've been thinking about doing my own flowers for the wedding party as well. I would like to have fresh flowers on the tables at the reception though.

But a bonus is you can make them days/weeks even months ahead of time without them going bad

Exactly! We’re 10 months out and they’re done. Gives me more time to focus on other things

Thanks! We are 10 months out. For 4 bouts, 2 bouquets, and a wreath it took 4 weekend days and multiple store trips. But I did have some unexpected issues and other commitments to tend to.

I plan to do my own flowers. We will be using real flowers. But I'm not sure when I should start? My wedding is November 2020 and obliviously the flowers wont live that long lol. Maybe i'll do a few practice runs a few months beforehand so i know when i bang it out a few days before the ceremony ill be a pro.

I did my own bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets. For boutonnieres and FH's mom's corsage, Hobby Lobby has pre-made "real touch" ones in a variety of colors. They are normally $3-5, but often have 50% off wedding stuff. I got them when they went on sale!

I also got my artificial flowers from Hobby Lobby during a week that their floral was 50% off. Each department tends to be 50% off once a month or so. It didn't take me long to make my bouquet and my 3 bridesmaids' bouquets. About a couple of hours total including re-doing my bouquet once.

My bouquet (also has a few flowers I made from maps to go with our travel theme)Flowers - anyone doing their own flowers? 4
