Flower timeline

I’m getting married in 2.5 months and my florists haven’t reached out since I initially met with them over a year ago. I’ve tried to reach out but they kept saying we should keep waiting until we get together to order flowers but I’m getting really anxious as the big day gets closer. Should I be concerned or is this totally normal?

Did you originally talk with them about what you wanted and your visions for the color scheme, what arrangements, etc.?
Why not meet with them about ordering? Sounds like that's what they're waiting for.

Depending on what the initial consultation included I would definitely go into the shop to speak with someone who wants to communicate with you.

    Hi there Meghan!

    Welcome to the WeddingWire community!

As Jeanelle asked, have you spoken with the florists in the past about your vision for the wedding flowers? Do you know what you’re doing, they simply just need to be ordered?

My florist doesn't need anything from me until 30 days before the wedding. This is when we'll talk again to finalize details and pay off the balance.
