All my flowers were real EXCEPT for my bouquet. I got a high quality fake bouquet so I can display it in our home forever. No one could tell the difference and I love having it!

My bouquet was preserved by a local company! Here's how it turned out:

When hubby and I were married 38 years ago, a friend of his family who had a local boutique made silk flower & dried flower bouquets for me, my MOH, and a rose boutonierre for my bridegroom. They were lovely & very realistic looking and I still have them in the display case portion of my antique secretary desk. We are having a Catholic convalidation wedding ceremony next week and the flowers will be real. I'd love to preserve my bouquet and hubby's boutonierre. I'm not sure if I will have the bouquet preserved. Lisa's idea of having the flowers dried and framed is lovely! My bouquet will be small - I might just let it dry and display it somewhere in the house. Not sure...
