Hi everyone! I am having serious issues with my flower budget. I have a pretty modest budget for my wedding at about $12,000. Everything seems to be right on track except for my flowers. I've gotten two quotes and they've both been for around $1,500. I'm looking to spend no more than $500-$600,...

Hi everyone! I am having serious issues with my flower budget. I have a pretty modest budget for my wedding at about $12,000. Everything seems to be right on track except for my flowers. I've gotten two quotes and they've both been for around $1,500. I'm looking to spend no more than $500-$600, which I know is not a lot. That's why I've incorporated a lot of greenery and pretty modest arrangements in my inspiration pictures. I'm considering doing my own flowers because this seems like the cheapest option, has anyone chosen to do their own flowers? If so, did you order online? Please help!

Hello! I love DIY brides!! I’m getting married in November and I’m also making my own flowers arrangements for centerpieces! I would strongly suggest Kroger, sams, costo for natural flowers that would be around 500-600!! you can always go and tell them what you would want and when and they will give you a quote! Good luck 😄

Friend of mine just turned me onto https://www.budget-bride.com/ for fake flowers.

I ordered a sample, and my friend showed me pictures and even videos (she's a sweetie), and if I like them... I think I can spend less than $500 and get what I need.

    I'll let you all know!

Flowers are very expensive. Floral was my last thing i booked bc i refused to pay over $1000 for personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages). I finally look on Instagram by hash-tagging #weddinginVA and I found my floral company which i am supper excited. For everything i am paying $670 and she is adding free things to my bouquet. My flowers centerpieces are included with my decor company.

My florist actually told me greenery is more expensive than flowers so I would try using something else.

I'm getting our flowers from a local farm that can source out for flowers year-round for $300 and we are putting them together at another farm near us where they will help with the arrangements. Costco does deliver as well as a few other sites I found fiftyflowers.com and bloominous. The flowers were a bit stressful for me too with a limited budget. I'm sure you will find something lovely that works for you!

Late to this party, but we got our 6 BM bouquets, 6 bouts, 4 corsages, 2 altar arrangements, and my bouquet from Wegman's for less than $500. We're probably going to TJs for centerpieces, and anticipate spending less than $800 total for 20 tables and 6 BM, 6 GM, and our flowers.
