Flower girls ideas

Addie, on May 13, 2020 at 6:06 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 7
So we are having my nieces be our flower girls. They are 11-12 yrs old. Our flower choices are wild flowers. I feel like for their age I would like to have them do something other than throw flowers. Our choices are blowing bubbles, carrying a sweet sign, or handing a flower to the person sitting on the aisle. What are some other unique options that we can use? Help a sista out. ❤️✌🏻

If they do ballet, then I suggest instead of walking down the isle, they can dance down the isle. I saw this done before and it’s so elegant 💕

Bubbles are cute, but they can be soooo slippery on floor, so it’s a hazard to me. Unless you are having an outdoor wedding.

Maybe have them as junior bridesmaids. And carry mini bouquets instead of petals.

I considered junior bridesmaids but my venue was going to charge me extra to have more bridesmaids. 😔

Maybe call them flower girls and just let them carry a bouquet. And have them walk out when flower girls usually do. My flower girl dresses are matching my bridesmaid dresses.

I like the idea of them just carrying a bouquet as junior bridesmaids

Daughter's flower girls were 4 and 8, and they carried smaller versions of the bouquets the bridesmaids had. It seems weird the venue charges you more depending on what title you give them, but if that's their rule I'd definitely have a couple "flower girls"! (Maybe you should tell them you only have FG's -- kind of like in an British royal wedding -- some of them are just kind of "old"! Smiley winking )
