Flower girls, how many?

Mrs. Nihi, on February 13, 2018 at 4:23 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 18

There are a handful of little girls in our families and want to include them. Has anyone ever had a few flower girls? How did it turn out?

I'm doing 4. I think that's on the upper end in amount, but I would say on average, most people do anywhere from 2 to 4.

I've definitely seen photos of people who had more than one flower girl/ring bearer. Just remember more kids = more chances for chaos! People have been warning us with just 3 kids in the wedding party. It is cute to see a group of little girls all dressed up.

We're having one flower girl (3 1/2)/one ring bearer (4 1/2) and a junior bridesmaid (8) to possibly help direct them.

We had 3 flower girls and a ring bearer. They were siblings and helped each other out, especially the older sisters with their little brother who was 3 years old. They were very cute!

We are having 2 flower girls and a junior bridesmaid. I couldn't leave any of the little ones out of our big day. The only problem I think could potentially arise is getting them to all sit and look at the camera for pictures.

I’m having 3! They’ll be 7, 3 and 2. They’re all my nieces. They look up to the 7 year old and follow her everywhere so I’m hoping this helps the day of, haha

I'm having 4, but with a slight twist. I have two friends who have toddlers. I thought it would be a cute idea to have mother/daughter flower girls! I thought this would also help get them down the aisle and with pictures lol

I currently have 1 flower girl. But that could now change to 3 or 4 since my FHs sisters might be able to make the trip now. I don’t really want that many but I can’t exclude them since they’re all about the same age.

I was wondering the same. We have a lot of nieces and nephews. And Titi (me) wants them all. We are thinking of making my daughter (10) as a junior bridesmaid and having the oldest girls out of the siblings children as the flower girls. (3 years old - 6) So a total of 3 flower girls but if have my daughter a flower girl then it will be 4. How old is too old for flower girls?

There really is no age limit. If your daughter wants to be a flower girl, let her! My 3 flower girls were 11, 9, and 7. The 11 year old was so excited to be a flower girl.
