So my church does not allow my flower girls to throw flower petals, or anything on the floor of the church. Does anyone have any ideas on alternatives? I read somewhere they can maybe give people individual flowers, like the ones on the ends.

Ours is carrying a ribbon wand. I made it a couple of weeks ago and it's super cute. I just don't trust her with flower petals. That's what happens when she is 2 years old.

I actually did a search over the weekend for alternative FG ideas. We're getting married outdoors so we decided to let our FG carry giant balloons. Pinterest has tons of cute ideas.

The church we are getting married at will not allow the throwing of flowers either, along with no bubbles, rice, etc. My florist is making the flower girls each a crown and I really like the idea of a flower wand of some sort.

It's a liability issue. Churches don't want someone falling and suing them. It's the same reason you can't use aisle runners anymore

My church won't let me throw flowers either so they will hold their flower girl baskets in front of them with a stem of plush hydrangeas and 3 roses together.
