At the time of my wedding, my nephews will be 5, 3, 3, and 8 months. My niece will be 1 years old. They're going to be super cute!

Lol awwwww! That is what I was thinking, the kids being shy. Although my only Ringbearer, as of now, is older (10 at the wedding), he has a very shy personality but opens up around other kids (as they all do). So I was thinking of adding my fiancé’s nephew who will be 5 at the wedding. Oddly he’s the life of the party lol. My flower girls are ready! Lol not a shy bone in their body

I have one flower girl and 2 ring bearers only bc they all are our kids lol but normally its one of each but ive seen it be 2 flower girls or 2 ring bearers never more then 2 though that can get hectic when they go down the isle i choose one of my boys to hold the pillow and my other son will be holding a sign that says wait till you see mommy daddy she looks amazing or something like that and on back it says they lived happily ever after lol

That’s totally understandable. Honestly when it comes to kids though I am expecting that. The out of the 4 only 1 is shy but he has been in a wedding and I know that we just probably won’t get a smile out of him walking down the aisle but I’m hoping adding my second ringbearer will lighten the load for him. As for my flower girls 1 was also already in a wedding prior, and the other isn’t shy at all and both are always picture ready!! Now if the adults start acting as you mention then I’d be worried 😉

Yeah, I don’t want to complicate things. I also don’t wanna stick to the dinosaur traditions either lol... I’m having 2 flower girls and still trying to decide if 1 or 2 ringbearers

Not going with either. Its cute and we love and adore children but my FH's family is huge and filled with kids of all ages. We're having an adult only wedding, and to not get into any fights or discussions with anyone we decided to cut out children altogether; don't want to hear the "well the RB and FG will be there, I can just show up with mine". Once they're there we can turn them away or be rude. The best man will hold the rings.

My husband has 3 young half sisters and I have 4 young cousins that I'm very close with that we wanted to include in the bridal party. My husband's 8 year old sister and my 5 year old cousin were flower girls, and my 7 year old cousin was a ring bearer. His teenager sisters were junior bridesmaids and my teenage cousins were junior groomsmen

We have two flowers- and one ring bearer.
The two girls are our friends daughters, and our ringer bearer is our nephew.
We will also have a couple of our friends kids and our niece carrying a sign that says “Here comes the love of your life”

We have 2 flower girls and 1 ring bearer. One of the flower girls is my 10 year old sister and the ring bearer is my 9 year old brother. I knew immediately that they would be in my wedding.

My other flower girl is my 25 year old cousin who has Down Syndrome. She is my birthday twin and one of the coolest people in the world. So I knew I had to have her in my party. I asked if she wanted to be a bridesmaid and she said she wanted to be a flower girl so thats what she will be Smiley heart

We get married in October. The best man will hold the rings. I’d rather not have one than force some kid we barely know (and their parents) just for “tradition.”

Honestly both are pointless. We will most likely have 2 little boys walking down the aisle out of respect for their parents. One is my best friend’s son who is the only child I tolerate. And the other will be FH’s godson who is his brother’s (the best man’s) son.

We have one flower girl (4y/o), the daughter of one of my bridesmaids and our officiant. And we have 2 ring bearers (9 and 4 y/o), who are my FHs nephews.

I too am doing a 21+ wedding with the exception of my bridal party (ring bearer(s) & flower girls). I already address this to my family to find babysitters or they won’t get in. I mean it may be harsh but I too have a big family that I can’t afford all of those plates. 21+ alone just my family members (both mother and fathers side) I have 150+ people on my starred guest list. Reminder this is just MY list, my fiancé isn’t included yet. 😅 I’m sure we will cut down when it’s time to finalize. I feel that this is just an understanding as adults we all should have. Weddings are not cheap and I can’t accommodate everyone. (I too have been over 21 and cut from wedding list with no hard feelings). If they don’t respect me being nice and addressing it now, I will see them at my future baby shower. I want to see the kiddos dapper down. I’m also considering having a babysitter (a relative) at the hotel to babysit after they eat at the reception honestly, but that isn’t final either.
