Depends on what you want, my cousins daughter was 1 month old and was the flower girl, she was pulled in a wagon by her dad.

I don't think so. She might need help with direction or someone walk with her. My son will be my ring bearer he will be just 2 months shy of 2 years old. Pretty sure he's going to steal the show. No one expects a toddler to walk perfectly down the aisle. That's what makes it even more fun.

My niece is my FG and it's a few days before she turns 2. I told my brother and SIL I want to dress her up cute for pictures, but when it comes to actually flower girl-ing, if she's not feeling it they can just pick her up and get her out of the way. We're not doing 20 minutes of coaxing or straight up pissing her off because she's confused or not into it. But I do want the cute pictures with her, and if she's into actually doing the walk, great!

I have a 22 month old, who's been asked to be a flower girl at 33 months. I'm considering it, but leaning towards no. Being cute only goes so far; it does not work miracles, with a pre-schooler.

I think 16 months is too young, especially because of all the photos that have to be taken.

My sisters FG and RB were 9 and 10 years; their behavior was impeccable.

My flower girl and ring bearer will be 20 and 21 months old. We are having my 14 year old brother pull them in the wagon.

My friends flower girl was that age. Mom who was in the bridal party went back to try and help get her down the aisle but ended up just carrying her down the aisle since she froze. It was still cute though.

My nephew and niece were 27 months and 40 months. My niece did great and knew exactly what to do. My nephew got halfway, froze and ran back up the aisle crying. Poor guy. Everyone thought it was adorable though and my niece was sooooo excited to be in the wedding. Picture of him running away. So funny!
