Flower Girl Age Limit.

How old is the cut off age for a flower girl. My flower girl will almost be ten when I have my wedding. I have always known I wanted her to be in my wedding some how. She is very special to me and my family. Is ten to old?

There is no cut off. It is whatever you want. I've seen adorable pictures of the bride and groom's grandmothers being flower girls and it was so stinking cute!

I would honestly ask her. I'm getting married the day before my niece's 10th birthday. She was a proud flower girl in my sister's wedding, and I thought she would feel too old this time. I have 2 younger niece's, and I told her I would probably have one of them do it and she seemed upset. I ended asking her to be maid of honor.

Mine was 74 so I don't think there's an age limit as long as they want to participate

We arent doing a flower girl and are toying with the idea of my dog being the ring bearer.

But, I was a flower girl when I was 7 or 8 with my sister who was 10 or 11. My aunt basically treated us like junior bridesmaids, we just had a different dress and threw some flowers. But we got ready with the bridal party and all that.

No do what makes you happy don't let what other people think bother you or what other brides do. My granddaughter is 10 but physically her body looks like a 13 or 14 year old she is developed I will put it to you that way. So she is my Jr bridesmaid and my New daughter which is my FH daughter is 8 she will be my flower girl but she is small and petite so I think for me my girls physical body type influenced my decision. But you have to do what is best for you. You make your 10 yr old your flower girl and don't give it another thought about what other people think. It's yours and your grooms day. God bless you and have a beautiful wedding & marriage.

At 10 she should be able to let you know. Just ask her if she wants to be a flower girl or a Junir Bridesmaid

If she is special to you & you want her in your wedding you can have her as either a flower girl or a junior bridesmaid! I'd let her decide Smiley smile

I don't believe flower girls should have an age limit!

Ask her. She may love the idea of flower girl, or she might hate it. If she feels too old, make her a junior bridesmaid

Maybe junior bridesmaid with a sign instead of rose petals?

If you are not comfortable with her being a flower girl at ten, then you can make her a junior bridesmaid. My niece will be eleven and I'm thinking of doing that.
