Yup. Same here. Think about how you can't stack flowers and you have to keep them cool. Kind of like transporting chocolate covered strawberries but harder

Depends on the area. They have to load everything into their truck, drive to the venue, unload everything, then set everything up.

I got quoted $100 and my venue is within walking distance of the florist. She ended up waiving it, but still.

My floral designer's fee for delivery, set up, and tear down was $350. I had a lot of different arrangements throughout the venue. It was 3 hours of set up time, and then they came back at 2am to take the rentals.

I thought it was very fair. $150 sounds normal to me.

Yep. Mine was $100 for delivery and set-up. But i'm returning a few arrangement vases back to the florist afterwards (so she knocked off some)

That's great. Mine is $450 but includes delivery, set-up and tear down. I also have varying arrangements and an elaborate head table arrangement that runs the entire length of the table.

My delivery fee is $100 but the florist is also about 20 miles or so away

Our delivery/setup fee was 10% of our order total plus $40 extra for multiple locations. Came out to almost $300...I'd say you got a good deal if that includes setup!

Mine was $200 for delivery and set up, she stayed for a good 2 hours and made sure that all the guys got their bouts and that we got our bouquets it was totally worth the extra money.

Seems about right. Our florist is about a 10 minute drive from the venue and it's still a $125 setup and delivery fee.

We avoided the delivery fee by picking up the flowers ourselves. We didn't have centerpieces, though, only bouquets/bouts.

We're only having personal flowers and our florist provides free delivery within 30km of her location.

Sounds like a deal to me...I paid $200 for delivery and $500 for set up/installation.

Hey there I just checked my floral invoice for you, my delivery and set up is $450 and pick up of materials is $300... im kind of upset now after coming to the realization of what you all are paying. lol

Just a thought: we are using our venue's recommended bakery, and as a result, the bakery is waiving the tasting and delivery fees. Does your venue have a recommended florist?
