I am having a small, barefoot bohemian mountain wedding. I want to wear a flower crown and was originally thinking real flowers, but the more I think about it and research into it, silk flowers seems like the better option, I could make it and my MOH's ahead of time and for WAY less than what a real one would cost, AND I could keep it and wear it again. I'm quite the dreadheaded hippy so wearing it again isnt a far fetched idea for me.

anyone else doing a flower crown? did you pick real or silk flowers and why?

I don't have any photos on my phone but when I'm done with them completely I'll be sure to share! I liked the real touch over the silk, the real touch felt more like petals and looked a little more realistic in my opinion. I ordered pretty much all of the actual flowers from afloral.com and watched some videos on their website. I got my greenery and filler flowers from hobby lobby! I mostly just played around with the flowers, arranged them until I thought they look right and found inspo pics on Pinterest of the types of flowers I wanted to use. I'm mostly going for a lot of greenery with eucalyptus and then white roses!

Ah, thank you so much for the tips! I was on the fence about the real touch flowers, but now I'm on board! Looking forward to seeing the finished product! Smiley heart
