I think I am pretty set on the idea of not having a florist at this point. We are having an outdoor wedding at one of the most beautiful venues in my state and they have a lot of their own floral already there. The only thing I would really need are bridesmaids bouquets and floral centerpieces for the tables. I will also need some loose flowers for the flower girls as well as some ceremonial floral decor. With that said, the prices for a florist are outrageous in my opinion. I was thinking of going through Whole Foods, and alsoMe and my fiancé planned on scavenging wildflowers a day or two before my wedding and using those as additional decor for the tables.Has anyone used Whole Foods or any market place floral for simple floral arrangements. I personally do not like fake flowers. If you’re doing it that’s totally cool but I personally just cannot do fake floral. Any opinions on Whole Foods floral or something like a market? All opinions welcomeBoth positive and negative, thanks!

    $8,000 minumum?!?

Have they lost their mind?! haha

WeddingWire allowed me to control how much I wanted to spend max on the florist and then I made sure all my communication with my florist stated how much I felt comfortable spending.

It is an additional expense that you can get away with using a store based vendor. I hear good things about Costco on here all the time. I have an acquaintance that I attended high school with who works for a store called Safeway (very similar to Kroger) she always posts her wedding creations on Facebook and seems really proud of her work. So it seems like a reputable option that many couples take advantage of!

Apparently from the prices that I’ve been looking at and I’m in Rhode Island. It’s crazy expensive so we have tons of friends that grow wild like I’m talking like hundreds LOL so we plan on scavenging those a day before. We plan on doing it earlier to just to get like a quick test run to see how it’s gonna look and we’re trying to have it similar to this photo below. The photo below is way more simple than what we’re going to hopefully have but it just gave us kind of a quick rough idea of how it might lookFlorists and Whole Foods…. 1

Yeah it’s so funny everyone mentions Costco’s but I don’t have any around here or at least I don’t think. My safest bet around here is Whole FoodsBut I went into whole foods yesterday just to take a quick glance at the florals and oh my god they’re gorgeousAnd I wasn’t expecting them to be so cheap

I am so glad you were pleased! Post some pictures if you end up confirming them as your vendor ☺️
