I recently booked my ceremony on the beach June 10, 2017. I know that is getting in the rainy months and I wanted to stay away from a day ceremony due to it being so hot. Has anyone ever gotten married at night in Florida during this month? I am just trying to figure out if I am taking too much of a risk and should consider changing the time?

Very very humid and wet in the summer months. I have lived in FL five years so I decided to get married in October. IMO I think Oct or Nov are the best months but if you're heart is set on June just have a backup weather plan

We attended a wedding in NE FL, the 1st week of October. The ceremony was outside - I believe 5:30. The guest chairs were arranged so we looked into the sun. Some guests turned their chairs around, until the bridal party walked out. To say we were very hot, would be an understatement. We took photos, after the ceremony, and our faces were still beet red.

Then someone had the bright idea to serve the cocktail hour food, on an outside patios. Ugh!

I live 45 minutes away from there. I would absolutely recommend a back up plan. Mother nature is unpredictable. Being on the water it is cooler and there is always a breeze. A sunset wedding will be beautiful! Do you have a venue picked out or were you going to use a pavilion?
