If you use Azazie you can assign each girl a color within her house and pick a shade that will still go with the flowers since the website has so many shades and color options. I chose a pastel summer palette and let each girl pick a dress with the “showroom” the website lets you create. That way each bridesmaid has her color assigned by you and has a choice of dresses, or you could even do all the same dress. You can order swatches of sample fabric to see and feel it for yourself before you commit. I cannot praise the site enough, and a bridesmaid multiple times and now a bride it was by FAR the easiest way to have my girls get and pick their dresses!

I agree that Harry Potter makes me think of rustic wildflower arrangements, and pumpkins for decor would incorporate Harry Potter, fall, and the orchid story so I'd definitely lean towards that if I were you.
