Flip flops?

I did this and very few got used. But to me it was worth it as I had a (rocky) beach ceremony and a cocktail hour in a (dry) grassy yard, so if anyone wore the wrong shoes despite my warnings, they would’ve had a miserable time

I am doing this! We are having s beach reception and bonfire afterwards (which will obviously be in the sand), so I thought it would be a nice gesture for people that want to change shoes. I got them at Dollar Tree so it wasn’t very expensive at all. I figure if they don’t get used I can always donate them 😊

People will wear the appropriate shoes if you tell them the type of wedding you’re having. We had a beach wedding and everyone wore appropriate clothing/shoes. You can save this money or spend it elsewhere.

It’s cute, but probably a waste of money. If you are close to your budget and need to cut something out, I would. Just let people know if they’re going to walk through sand or whatnot and may need them. But if you have extra room in your budget and love the idea, go for it!

It's probably a waste of money. I always bring my own comfy shoes to change into. If you have the budget, it's totally fine to do, but i jsut can't imagine a lot of people taking advantage.

I always bring my own but see several people walking around barefoot and I hate that. So I will be doing this as well. I will be getting $1 flip flops from Old Navy or either slippers from somewhere

I think it's a wicked cute idea, but as a guest, I honestly wouldn't use them. I brought the shoes I want to wear to an event.

Old Navy has them for like $2 usually - go for it. :-)

This is what I am doing. We are only having 50 people and most are couples so in the end I am buying 25 pairs so it isn't too bad price wise.

Did you decide if you will do the basket of flip flops, Ariel?
