Flats instead of heels ?

I'm wearing flats because my FH and I are the same height and I want to be comfortable .

I'm wearing flats. I'm 6 foot tall. I don't want to be any taller.

I'm doing flats! I think a ton of people do flats and it isn't weird at all. No one can really see shoes anyway since the bride's dress is so long

I'm with flighty. I don't get how its such a big deal. No one will know what you're wearing, and it really doesn't matter.

I want to wear flats, to be comfortable too, but I'm worried it would look weird. I'm on the short side, wearing a short (knee length) dress. FH is almost a foot taller than I - he is tall and skinny. I'm worried flats will make me look short and... stout?

You can always have some heels for photos if you want to like while getting ready and just wear your flats.

I wore sandals under my ballgown. It was the best decision ever - I was on my feet the whole night and my feet didn't hurt at all! No blisters or pain for standing in heels for hours

I wore kitten heels for the ceremony and pics and then flats for the reception, you can see them peeking out in this photo! I did both due to us being nearly the same height but for comfort too.

I wore flats! My feet thanked me haha! H is only a couple inches taller than me, so I didn't want to wear heels. My dress was not affected! We just took it up more than if I wore heels.
