Flameless Candles

Amanda, on April 24, 2019 at 10:42 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 18

I found out Monday that my venue does not allow real candles. I'm looking for flameless options now. Anyone have any recommendations for pillars and votives? I don't want to pay a fortune....but I also do not want them to look cheap. Thanks!

Amazon! My tea lights were $12 for $25 and the wraps were $15 for 48!

We also looked at pillar candles on Amazon but we decided to just have tons of the tea lights

Our venue also doesn't allow open flames. I ordered 3 different types of flameless candles from Amazon and am really happy with all of them. I got tea lights, white pillar candles, and birch bark look alike candles. They flicker like real flames and look better than I expected. They had a lot of positive reviews and the prices weren't bad at all. Try FB marketplace too, as a lot of brides resell things like this quite often. Here's what I ordered:

"AGPTEK Lot 100 Battery Operated LED Warm White Tea Light Candle Flickering Flashing"

"Comenzar Flickering Candles, Candles Birch Set of 4 5" 6" Birch Bark Battery Candles Real Wax Pillar with Remote Time"

"Aignis Flameless Candles, Led Candles Set of 12(H 4" 5" 6" 7" x D 2.2") Ivory Resin Candles with Remote Timer Waterproof Outdoor Indoor Candles (Batteries not Included)"

I bought fake LED flickering candles on Amazon. I think they were $12.99 for 12 of them.

I bought these off of Amazon and they seem like pretty good quality for the price.

Are these wraps around an actual votive glass or just around the tea light? Where did you get them? Curious cuz I want to make my votive holders look nicer! I was gonna use 3' wide gold ribbon but if these wraps exist maybe they could work!

The wraps are just around the tea light. They are stiff enough that they stand up on their own. I suppose you could wrap them around a glass voltive but they may be to small.

Okay that makes sense! I may just stick to the ribbon idea then. Thanks Smiley smile

    Hi there Amanda Smiley smile

I would second the suggestion of Amazon. You can really find anything on there!!

Another great place to check out for flameless LED candles is Ikea!!

Where are you going to use them at the venue? Will they be in your centerpieces?

Yes! They will be used as part of the centerpieces. I am looking for both tealights and pillar. I have been looking on Amazon, but I'm just wondering which seem the most realistic. Totally bummed I can't use the real thing!

Thank you! I have been searching Amazon, but didn't know which would be the most realistic and worth the money!
