A few days ago I posted about my bridesmaid flaking, Well I found out today (by messaging the etsy woman who made my BM dresses) that this bridesmaid hasn't even purchased her dress when she told me she ordered it over 2 months ago. I'm super upset I have tried reaching out to this BM to see what's going on with her and she just isn't responding to me. We are very good friends, or we was until my co-ed bach party where she bailed the night before and left us paying her half so my other BM didn't have to pay for her half and their half for the cabin. I never was upset with her because she said "she couldnt get off work for 3 days in a row" I was fine, but then the next week she went for 8 days to the beach with another friend.. She's not talked to me since. I've tried countless times to spend time with her..nothing she's short when I message her, ignores when I ask about getting together.. Should I just NOT count on her being a BM?

At this point, you might just want to tell her that her services are no longer needed. Your BP can be uneven or if there is someone else you have in mind you can ask them. We are lucky that if this happens my one BM is my FH younger sister. She will be 16 when we get married, so if one of the GM bail we can make her a JR BM. It'll work itself out but honestly try sitting down with her and if she doesn't want to move on

Hey Name Twin Smiley smile sorry your going thru this sounds like she is not a great friend have you thought of having one of the GM who as you said are your friends too stand on your side? There is NO rule that says you have to have Girls and its cool to have two guys per girl on the way out or walk out as individuals

I'm in the same boat as you are right now!! I've already had two girls who backed out and now my Other one is short with messages, or doesn't respond. I've texted her multiple times no answer or days later. I have offered to pay for her dress all she had to do was get sized and nothing. Idk what to do with all the gifts I've already bought most with her name on it. Plus I've already paid for hair and makeup. I just feel bad for my FH because we have had to take two guys out already because my girls backed out and now we might have to take another one. But his friends want to be there for him so idk what to do
