Fit and flare to modified A-line?

katie, on July 18, 2016 at 4:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3

I bought a dress that seemed like a modified a-line in the store (pic in comments) Now that I have had it altered it is more of a fit and flare and I do not like it at all (pic below). Can I have this altered to more of a modified a-line and take out the "poof" I am so sad that I no longer love my dress

Hate to break it to you, but that was definitely a fit and flare in the store too - see how it nips in under your butt? You could probably change the poofiness of the lower dress by having any crinoline removed and maybe some layers, and asking the seamstress if they can let out the seams around the upper thigh a little. Even an inch makes a difference!

Is there crinoline in your skirt? If so they can easily remove it to make your skirt more flowy.
