My first time living with H was right after being long distance. It was a little rough at first. When he would visit when we were long distance, we were inseparable, basically glued at the hip. Grand gestures were common, cleaning my apartment while I was at work, etc.. once he moved in there was obviously a lot more independence. It was a little hard to find the balance between "I must spend every single second with you" and "I'm just going to do my own thing." Other than that, it was pretty great. Communication is key! I don't care how cliche that is!
