First look

That sounds very sweet. What will you be saying during the ceremony? Standard vows or nothing? That may seem a bit odd to most guests and will certainly shorten your ceremony so you may want to consider that. But it’s your day so I’m a firm believer in doing what makes the two of you happy.

We were going to do the same thing and then do traditional vows during the ceremony. I think its special either way, but I love the idea of it just being us.

I love that idea. FH and I thought about just giving each other our vows like love letters to read in private when we’re getting ready but FH is the one lacing my corset so nope!

My FH gets more emotional than I do so I suggested this as well. He loved it. I think we will recite traditional vows during the ceremony. I also thought about allowing our guests, or specific family members, to read our personal vows if they would like to.

Awe that is sweet. Would you prefer him to have his back to you while you walk down the aisle? a nice alternative if you want to keep the vows in the ceremony. OR you could always just repeat them later or use standard vows.

I think that's a great idea! I wanted to read our vows to each other the night before, but my husband wanted to save them for the wedding.

I think its a great idea.. We are doing this however, I don't want a first look so we are going to have a door or wall in between us and do a first touch & that's where we will read our letters to each other ..

I think it's your day, and if that's what you want to do I say go for it.
