First look VS traditional

I asked FH if he wanted to do a first look and he's still thinking about it lol. I kinda want him to have the shock factor though.

We plan on doing a first look because we will save so much time. Also, my FH is on the private side so I'm sure if he cries he'd like there to be as few people as possible to witness.

Traditional. But my priest said really the traditional thing was the bride and groom would stand at th church doors together welcoming their guests, so I really don't think their is a wrong answer

Traditional

Traditional. Mainly because we won't have time to do a first look.

Traditional. Doing a first look with my dad though

We're doing a first look for two reasons:

1) It will be a stressful day. Seeing him will make it all worth it.

2) I want that intimate moment to happen between just the two of us (that's right - no photographer!). He is not a very expressive person and I don't want him to feel pressured into reacting a certain way. His eyes will sparkle and he'll smirk a little bit - and I'll know he's over the moon!

First look.

We want to have the time to enjoy each other and take pictures without feeling rushed. I'm sooo looking forward to it.

Traditional route for me

Traditional. I go back and forth but FH has a firm stance on no first look!

We're doing a first touch, but no first look, solely because it's one of the few things that FH had a very strong opinion about. We have 15 minutes set aside for our first touch (with pictures) and I'll admit that one of the things that I'm super excited about is seeing him standing there at the alter waiting for me.

I don't see why anyone would necessarily regret doing a first look. We're not doing one because FH doesn't want to. I have seen both done and it's always special either way. I wasn't partial to either thing, but my FH is very, very set on doing it the traditional way. He even says he's going to be facing the officiant until I'm at the top of the aisle!

Keeping it traditional

I was so adamant on doing the traditional first look during the ceremony but my FH wants a first look. The more I thought about it I do think the first look is better for us. We are very private people plus I want to get pictures put of the way before the ceremony.

We are doing a first touch, but trying to stay traditional as possible.

I'm going the traditional route. I can always take a few minutes for a private moment with my FH while everyone moves to the reception.
