First look or traditional way?

I'm a traditional girl. When I first married my husband, 20 years ago, I didn't want him to see me until a was walking down the aisle. Everything was kept a secret until that point. We are currently planning our vow renewal for next year. Our photographer recently asked if we wanted to do the "first look" or not. After giving it some thought, we decided to go ahead and do the first look photos, especially since this is our renewal. Though, if I had to do our wedding all over again, I still would nix the first look and stay traditional. It's a personal preference really.

I really like the first look option, primarily so all my guests are sitting around waiting while we're taking photos. With the first look we can do a bunch of the photos beforehand and especially before the lil kiddos get restless and kranky and hangry. My FH is a little nervous about the expectation that he have a certain "look" when he sees me so we have discussed possibly photographing us holding hands looking the other way (etc) then having the photographer leave for the part where he sees me.
