First Look opinions????

I know a lot of people do first looks nowadays but I really don’t want to. I really want my fiancé’s initial reaction to be when I walk down the aisle towards him. There’s no right or wrong here though this is totally personal preference.

Were deciding to be traditional and have the “first look” be me walking down the aisle. We’ve never been married before and want to experience this special moment. I can understand as well though others that have done a first look; it’s personal preference and theirs pros and cons to each decision. It’s up to what will make y’all the happiest and something you won’t look back on years later and regret doing/not doing.

I'm not a fan of them. My fiancee isn't either. We both want our first look of each other to be when i'm walking up the aisle toward him

Although its up to the two of you to decide together, were I in your shoes, I'd just go with what he wants on this one. So much about weddings revolve around us brides, I'd just let him have this one special moment, since it clearly means so much to him.

Rachael that's what I'm gonna do! Because he doesn't really like talking about wedding things and this is the first thing he's actually told me that he wanted an I think it's sweet how he rather see me walking down the aisle!💕

We are doing a first look for a couple of reasons. One is to get a lot of the pictures out of the way. But the main reason is for the 2 of us to have that special moment together. It will be time for just us to spent together and enjoy that special moment before the wedding. I’m really looking forward to it.

We did a first look because for us it was important to be in our own cocktail hour and greet guests so we could stay seated during dinner. We absolutely loved it and it didn’t make walking down the aisle any less special. It’s definitely a personal preference though.

We're not doing one either. I was all for saving time on pictures but my fiancé didn't want to see me until I came down the aisle. So instead I'm doing a first look with my dad before we start the ceremony.

I am doing a first look. I just want to get the photos out of the way especially while I am most fresh looking

I’m personally not doing a first look because I want to see my fiancé’s face the moment I walk down the aisle. But A TON of couples are doing first looks and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it! You’ll have more time for pictures of you two and won’t have to rush to get them done after the ceremony. But it’s definitely a preference for you and your fiancé. Also, I think if you or your fiancé are shy it will definitely ease the nerves doing a first look!

We aren’t doing one. My FH actually didn’t even know what it was when I asked him if he wanted to and he told me he would rather keep it traditional, so this is what we are doing. I had mixed feelings about it so I was glad he actually had an opinion. He usually is fine with whatever I decide for the wedding but this time he actually cared lol

I'm doing a first look and I'm so excited about it. I wanted to get out some of my emotions during this time so I'm not a blubbering mess going down the aisle. I am also doing it for the intimate moment shared just between us. Also, I want to get some of those special moments captured and off the to do list. Ultimately its up to you two to decide together, just like myself and my Fiance did. Best of luck

Yes that's a big reason why I wanna do one to calm my nerves because I'm very shy and even though it's friends and family I'll still be nervous!

We're doing one mostly because of time. Also my fiance and I live together. He's seen me in the dress and my hair is so short there's no way to style it. He knows what I will look like so there's no point in the tradition for us.
If your fiance is really into the traditional way then I say give him that. It's not a big deal and if it's something he wants I think it's a really romantic thing for him to ask for.

I don't wear dresses but we do live together! so our wedding day will be the first time he'll see me in a dress and probably the last😂!

We are going a “blind” look lol so he’s going to be blindfolded and we’ll take traditional first look photos. I wanted a first look, he didn’t, so we compromised hahaha

No first look for us. We are going traditional. I'm staying somewhere else the night before(we live together)
