First look ideas for a hotel wedding

The elevator idea is so cute! Does your hotel have any balconies or large windows/mirrors?

You might consider doing the first look in the reception space--before any guests arrive there. It will be decorated, beautiful, but peaceful and quiet.

Another idea is outside. Does your hotel have a courtyard, or other green space where you could do the first look? I really like the look of couples all dressed up, out in nature. But hotels often have some pretty outdoor space that you can use for pictures and a private moment.

Our wedding is at a golf course, and there's this pretty little bridge, going over the creek, that we are going to use for our first look. It's tucked away in the trees, so when you're in the ceremony space, you can't even see the bridge, and unless you've been there before, you wouldn't even know it's there. So, that's going to be a great spot for us. You should look for something like that.

I love the elevator idea… It is so cute! My husband and I did our first look on a large staircase at the hotel and he was standing at the bottom with his back to me and I came down the staircase. I loved the look on his face in the second picture when he saw me....it is one of my favorite pictures.

I love this so much! I think we're going to do our first look on the balcony of our venue. But we might put me on the balcony first because she's not so good with heights. lol
