Did anyone bring different people to their first dress fitting than when they found the one? Was it a better experience than when you found the one?

Just asking because when I found the one, my entourage kept quiet the entire time because they didn't want to serve my decision but now I'm hoping for some excited faces for my fitting.

I didn’t take anyone to my fittings. They’ll give you the excitement when they see it on your wedding day.

I didn’t take anyone to my first fitting, and my MOH came with me to my final fitting so she could see how to do the bustle and lace up the corset (though I’m sure she could have figured that one out). I get the lack of excitement choosing your dress, but I agree that they’ll be excited on the day when they see your look all together. My entourage liked a different dress better than the one I picked, but I knew.

Since my alterations appointment is right after work, I will be going by myself.
And since my dress doesn’t have a train and doesn’t need bustled, there’s no need for anyone else to come.
