First fitting

My second fitting will be around April and my wedding is the beginning of June. I don’t think it is too close personally. If my seamstress says it should be good then I’m assuming it should be good. Are there any specific concerns that you’re worried about with it being close to the wedding?

My seamstress suggested to do the first fitting 4-6 weeks before the wedding.

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven’t even found my second dress yet lol I have an appointment this Saturday to go try on. I know it’s only a second dress, but it’s still a dress that will have to fit me properly. My seamstress said as long as I find one a month before the wedding I should be good as long as it doesn’t need a lot of crazy alterations and she won’t have to source fabric etc. which she definitely won’t need to do with the type of second dress that I’m getting.

I think it would depend on how much you want to be done to the dress

If you're not having crazy alterations done (it sounds like youre not) then your timeline is totally fine. My dress didn't come in until 2 weeks before and they hemmed, bustled, and adjusted the boob area in plenty of time!

My wedding is June 4th and my fitting timeline is April 10th, May 1st, May 15th, and the last is the May 22nd.
