First fitting was a success!

When I ordered my dress I got it one size smaller because I planned on losing weight. I had more than enough time, I ordered it in July and I just got it now 8 months later. Wellll life happened and I felt I hadn't lost any weight so I was dreading putting on my dress and it not fitting. *sigh of relief* it fit and it was so beautiful. More than when I chose it in the first place.

Has anyone else fallen more in love with their dress as time goes on? What an amazing feeling!! can't wait for my second fitting in a month.

I'm glad your first fitting went great!!! I will have mine on Tuesday and I'm not too enthusiastic about it. David's Bridal had me order my dress two sizes up because of the size of my breasts, so I'm afraid it's going to cost an arm and a leg to take in.

Most definitely! I loved my dress the first time I tried it on. I still loved it when I put it back on at my 1st alterations appointment- even with the pins in it! The 2nd appointment went even better- they took in a lot & hemmed it but it still needed more adjustments. Third appointment & it fits even better- just needs a few tweaks! I get to pick it up this Wednesday for my wedding next Saturday! Each time I put it on, I love it more & more!

I got super nervous all of a sudden when I got the call that my dress came in - I panicked and was worried I wouldn't like it anymore! I was SO happy once I put it on and loved it more than ever, so I totally feel you! 🥰
