Nothing carbinating and avoid foods that cause bloating. Not too much water, because they can cause water retention. Spanx yes!

And try not to like yourself on the pins! I managed to get myself good when I was taking my dress back off because she had been pinning the torso, and I bled a little on the lining. Thankfully she said she'd be able to get it out! Also make sure you ask about anything you don't like, because at least at mine she was more waiting for me to ask about something than pointing out what we needed to change.
