First dress fitting! Who comes with me?

Hi all! I go for my first dress fitting in about 2 weeks and I'm so anxious and excited and overcome with joy! I want some close friends to come with me to share in the moment of seeing it somewhat fit and share these emotions with me. Is that normal? I mean it is just a dress fitting. Do I ask...

I think it also depends on if you will need some major alterations. Some big decisions need to be made about the top, so I asked my step mom to come out to help support me. If it was just a nip and a tuck, I prob would just have my BM come with me.

I have my first fitting this weekend too... and will only be bringing my mother (and that's only cause I need her to drive since FH will have the car). My dress came in super early ... which was good since there was a stain, so it was sent back and replaced... and I tried on the new dress a couple weeks ago, so I still have the picture of myself in the dress fresh in my head (and luckily liked it more once I got it on again- which is scary when you try on something you bought 8-10 months ago).

I would love my MOH to come and give me her option on the seamstress and my bustle choice (cause like Alexis said her honesty and overall option are why she's my MOH in the first place), but she's out of town this weekend. I'm making her come with me to the second fitting so she can learn how to do the bustle.
