Is anyone suprsing there groom with a different first dance song then they were expecting. For the past few months we have been wanting to dance to perfect by Ed sheeren but now he has brought a different song to my attention that he seems to like more. The is- this is it by Scotty McCreery. I starting to fall in love with this song and can see us dancing to it. Have any of you been telling FH that you are dancing to a different but totally do a 180 and end up doing another with out him knowing?

Does your fiance like surprises? I wouldn't have done the switch-up because my husband was nervous enough about the first dance and was practicing the song (even by himself). If you fiance likes to dance and you think he would be excited, then go for it. Otherwise, I would just change the song with his knowledge.

This is a lovely song!
As long as your FH isn’t nervous about the first dance, this could be a really sweet surprise!
As Hannah mentioned, if he is nervous, this could really throw him off!

Thanks for the input. He keeps dropping hints to me that he would prefer this song. And he is perfectly okay with surprises. For us is not about having us dancing to it but the meaning of the song. I can not wait till he knows about us doing this song. 😁
