We went back and forth on a few songs I picked out and settled on one. Then I randomly heard this song, sent it to him, and we both knew it was the one. This song is just so "us".

It looks like we were on the same wavelength this morning I started a discussion on the topic also - What's your first dance song?

My fiance and I are dancing our first dance to our song "Blessed the Broken Road" by Rascal Flats! The lyrics are basically our story in a nutshell and we knew it was the perfect song for us when we were dating! It was easy to pick this as our first dance because 1) it's our song and 2) we've actually never danced to it in public before! So it will be very special!

We used History in the Making by Darius Rucker... there were other songs that I felt fit “better” as a first dance song, but this has been “our song” since the first month we started dating. It was the first song we ever danced to together we did think about using a different song but it just didn’t feel right!

it was one of a few songs that we were thinking about when we did our initial venue walk through. our venue manager had to step out for a second to deal with someone else coming on the property and this song came on. That was technically our first dance, to that song, at our reception hall. After that, there was no question.

We danced to "Perfect" by Ed Shearan. The line "we were just kids when we fell in love not knowing what it was" was what made the choice. We met in 1985 when I was 15 and we dated until he left for the Navy 6 months later. it fit, and when we listened to the song I cried.

Ours is "Head Over Boots" by Jon Pardi! It's been our song for a long time!

"In My Life," by the Beatles. I've always loved that song, and when I played it for my fiance, he agreed that it should be our song. Now we have to learn to dance to it!
