I just got married in June and we danced to True Companion by Marc Cohen, its a great song I am sure you will find the one as it gets closer all the best!!!

If your song is awkward to dance to- I'd suggest use it as your exit song.

The more I listen to it, the more sold I am on "I Will" by the Beatles. Perfect sentiment, super cute and only a minute and 48 seconds long! Plenty of time to think about it, but we've also discussed "You Are the Sunshine of my Life" by Stevie Wonder.

FH and I went to a wedding in April and the couple's first dance song was "Grow Old With ME" by Mary Chapin-Caprenter. The lyrics go like this:

My FH had tears in his eyes, he blamed it on his contacts (he doesn't even WEAR contacts)!

Were doing Then by Brad Paisley. Our song was going to be Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd but we changed it when this song came out because it fit us so perfectly. I say find something that means something to the two of you as a couple and go for it!

I changed mine the day of the wedding, it was Sade - By Your Side and it ended up being this one: (skip the first minute or so). I didn't even tell my hubby I changed it, it's a cheesy wedding song...but it fit perfectly!

Assuming our DJ can find it, we're going to dance to As Time Goes By. It's in the movie Casablanca.

Sharon, I love These are the moments -- I was thinking of using Sara Evans version for the bride entrance song.

Our song is I just came here to dance which is not really appropriate for a first dance so we are going to dance to I'll keep on loving you by Reba.

My FH actually picked ours. I just randomly brought up that we needed to think about it and he blurted out that he already knew what we would dance to. Frank Sinatra's Someone to Watch Over Me. I feel in love with it during Mr. Hollands Opus and my FH used to play it for me all the time in the car when we first started dating!

We are doing the "double take" first dance so it will start out being Edge of Forever by Richard Marx but then it will cut to In Control by Nemesea.... We are such an offbeat couple....

Our original song was "Just like heaven" by The Cure. But it's not easy to dance to either. We switched it to "Luna" by The Smashing Pumpkins. Much easier to dance to and although it didn't have a special meaning to us like the other song, it is our favorite band.
