First dance song ideas?

Hey there,

My FH and I are struggling with a first dance song. We grew up together since elementary school and we don't have "our song". Since we grew up in the 90s and early 2000s, we are trying to find a rock/alternative love song that was popular then, for our first dance.

We are trying to avoid country songs if we can.

Any songs come to mind?

Hello, we are doing "thank you for loving me" by Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi was our first concert together and we are both big fans. I think that song is a later song by them maybe 2000
