First dance at a 2 person beach elopement

My FW and I had to postpone our wedding to 2021. We are eloping on the same exact date this year. If it is just us at a beach wedding should we do a first dance? In some ways we have tried to keep the elopement separate/different so it doesn't feel like we're just doing all of the same things over again. I'm wondering if we should save the first dance for our 2021 ceremony or do something at the beach as well? I welcome your thoughts!

    I think a first dance on the beach would be so romantic... and would make for some killer photos!! Besides, the idea of the “first dance” is your 1st dance as a married couple. At your 2021 ceremony you will have already been married for a year, so it really wouldn’t be your first dance anyway.

    I would do the first dance at the elopment. It gives you to a chance to really connect and enjoy each other and plus as Chrysta said those photos would be killer!

    Where are you going to celebrate after the ceremony? Doesn't matter if it's not "your" song - But I'd definitely still have that first dance as married couple.
