Fireworks in nyc

Hi there! I love the Fourth of July and fireworks and would love to have fireworks at my wedding in April 2021. We plan on having our reception in Queens... the venue has a rooftop area. I imagine our guests coming out to see the fireworks at the end of the night... has anyone does this before? In NYC? What was the cost? Who did you use? Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you so much!

    I would check to see if your venue would permit this, and then the city. Fireworks are heavily regulated in the city, due to safety issues, so you'd likely need a lot of costly permits.

    Before you even look into the cost of fireworks (which aren't cheap), I would clear this with your venue and research the laws regarding private fireworks with the city.

    This sounds like a fantastic idea!

    Have you spoken with your venue coordinator about this idea? I would definitely recommend doing so. There may have been a couple at the venue who have done this before and he/she may have contact information for an awesome pyrotechnic pro!

    I did a quick search on Google for ‘wedding fireworks NYC’ and got lots of results! I would recommend checking out the different suppliers, see if they have more information or pricing on their website or reach out.
