The moment I knew I loved him was when he dropped me off at tennis practice, drove off, and then u-turned and said "I forgot something" and then kissed me. Such a little but special moment.

He told me how beautiful I was without makeup

He made the same comment about Titanic that I have said for years! “If Rose had just stayed in that darn life boat in the first place, Jack would have had the wooden door to himself!” That’s when I knew he was a keeper 😂

We were talking online late at night. I was in my bedroom. I have no idea what the conversation was at the time. He said he loved me, and out loud I said to myself "One day I am going to marry that man." That was after 7 weeks of talking, and since then he has given me a million more reasons.

He could meet me "at the table", and beat me in some categories! He is an absolute gentleman.

I think it kind of sneaked up on me. We have been through so much. More honestly, I've been through so much with him but yet I love him so much. But over the last couple of years, we've been through counseling and it made things better. I truly knew he was the one for me after our first weekend trip together.

Almost immediately. We were hesitant about it at first, but we both felt the same way. We talked for two months before we finally met, but once we met that was about it.

I realized he was the one when I noticed how patient and understanding he was of me, how well he treated my son (he has a son, too) and he always kept his word.

After 7 weeks of talking. We were messaging online, and I suddenly felt sad. In that moment, he said he loved me. It felt like he knew I was low, and that was his way of being there for me. That was when I declared out loud "One day, I'm going to marry that man."


But in terms of in person moments, it was undoubtedly when he heard me crying in the bathroom in the middle of the night. He knocked on the door, I opened it and he sat down with me on the floor and held me whilst I cried. That was when I knew he was nothing like any other man I'd known. His sole focus was making sure I wasn't alone when I was sad. He didn't worry about how it made him feel, he was just there for me.

When I could be myself, unapologetically which I never was able to be before. He's really weird. And so am I. I don't need to think.
