Fingers too small for rings... HELP!

Rebecca, on July 12, 2017 at 12:50 AM

So FH and I are engaged but without a ring. We are having some issues because I am an EXTREMELY small person. Like, I am a size 3.5 ring. When looking online at what Jared and Zales have, the smallest size they have is a 5. Help???

I wear a size 3. we purchased it from a local jeweler who was easily able to size it down for me (FH guessed my ring size was a 5 when he proposed).

Jared should be able to size it for you

Private jeweler! I am a 4 and that was the best way to go. Also TwoBirch goes down to a size 3!

Try calling your local Jared store to see how small they will size down. My FH bought my ring in a size 4.5 and they brought it down to a 4. Smiley smile

PP who suggested a toe ring... lmao! sorry, that is just hysterical. I actually laughed out loud !! Smiley laugh

OP, jeweler can insert a piece of metal inside your ring also shaped like a ring... and itll sit tight or normal ( whatever you want) on your finger. I am 5.5 and my fiancé had to have his jeweler insert that piece inside my ring. I am sure you can make it work. Good luck!!

Hello! You can go to one of those places and ask if you can custom order it. I am between a 3.75 and a 4, my FH asked if he could get it custom ordered and they were happy to help. If you cannot custom order it, then after buying it you can get the ring re-sized. Best of luck! Smiley smile

Most engagement ring designers or manufacturers will custom make a ring in that size.

Go to a local jeweler. I'm a 4.25 and it was fine

You can get all rings sized to fit your finger unless they have stones all the way around. Yes, almost places will custom order or just size it down.

My partner bought a standard 6.0 ring for my engagement ring, and the company (shane co) sized it down to a 3.0 for me. I just had to drop it off and give them 5 days to get to it. As long as you don't pick a ring that has a pattern all the way around they can just make it smaller for you. If you go in person to a solid jeweler they will be able to tell you what they can easily size down, and what isn't a good option. There are plenty of rings out there for you! Don't worry!
