Finding a wedding dress during pandemic

Is it just me or is it harder to find quality dresses and quantities at Nordstrom..? I liked Nordstrom bc they had several brands to choose from but the website seems like they are very limited? Where are all the wedding dresses? Please list suggestions on where to directly shop and buy wedding dresses from. If location can help, I live in Northern Virginia.

Are there Dillard’s in Virginia? I found some pretty wedding gowns at the store and they have more online that you can special order.

If your in NOVA check out BHLDN as well. they have gorgeous dress. what i'm finding is that during the pandemic brides are buying up the floor model dress or whatever is in stock versus ordering. this is what a consultant at davids bridal and at bhldn told me. i ended up getting my dress from Champagne Tastes Bridal Boutique in Southern MD

If you're willing to buy online, I tried Azazie's try at home option, and got my wedding dress from there, and just had my friends come over to help me choose it.

My dress came from a small locally owned boutique during a sample sale. I know the boutiques in our area are open by appt only and require masks. I’d look local before buying online personally because I hate buying clothing without trying it on.
