Finally found my dress 🤗

I feel like I need to add straps or cap sleeves or something so I don’t show too much cleavage. (I’m a 34I) I’m also torn between using fabric that matches the dress, the sequined fabric I used on my veil or the teal lace I made my flower girl’s dresses with. (I’m a seamstress btw) Too many...

Both are gorgeous. Would you ever do one strap on the opposite side than the bust?

Like, you'd have what you put on the neckline on the right, and use the strap on the left?

I have a degree in Fashion and Design and live for posts like this where we can discuss all the fun stuff!! ❤ Just my two cents, I really loved the lace, or appliqués, as straps. I'm also designing and making my cathedral length veil. Been ill so I'm worried I won't finish it in time. Lol! Let's add a bit more stress. 😂 Yours is gorgeous!!

AHHHH first my 8 year old posted my comment before I had finished then I wrote it and had to switch to another app and this app restarted. Not my night apparently 🙃

yes, I plan on trying the asymmetric look as well. I think it could work well with the asymmetric neckline the dress already has.

Sooooo I managed to find organza that matches my dress almost perfectly🤗 I did not think I would, so I didn’t go with my original plan for the veil/dress, but since I did.....I made another veil and cape.

Not sure if I want to add any more to it. I think I like it as is. Thoughts anyone? 😊

Oh yeah, and I made a privacy panel to raise the neckline and attach the sequins to so they hang over the actual top of the dress
