Finally found my dress 🤗

I feel like I need to add straps or cap sleeves or something so I don’t show too much cleavage. (I’m a 34I)
I’m also torn between using fabric that matches the dress, the sequined fabric I used on my veil or the teal lace I made my flower girl’s dresses with. (I’m a seamstress btw) Too many decisions ahhhh lol

Thank you! I’m very happy with how it turned out. The veil was one of those things I immediately knew what to do with, so far it’s the only thing like that lol

Oh wow! Didn’t realize you made the veil yourself. Nice job! I don’t know how to sew a single stitch.

I would use the sequin fabric that you used for the veil. It'll let you keep that sparkle feeling after the ceremony. Excellent sewing skills btw!

OK, going to make some straps with the sparkly fabric. I’ll post a pic when they’re done to get your thoughts.

I totally will! I love having someone to share with who shares my love for this stuff. I ordered a bunch of organza swatches yesterday so I can find one that matched my dress and use it as a base for the sequins.

Are the sequins in that pattern already and you just need something to stabilize it? Or did you actually design that pattern?

Oh they are already in that pattern, I just had to cut them out. I am not that patient lol
I’ll post pictures of the straps in about an hour when I get back home. They turned out really pretty, thank you for the suggestion 😉

Ok, I’m still playing with them, but this should give you a good idea of what I came up with.

Yes you can, just have to take a little time to learn. I had to make a quilt for 7th grade home ec, that’s the only reason I know how 😉
