Final payments for vendors & rsvp date

Hello all,

My catering company is requiring 50% of the total paid about a month before my wedding. Just wondering if I should make my RSVP deadline a few days before that. My wedding is now September 25th and they require 50% by August 28th.

Yes you’ll want minimum 5 days to follow up with people because some will not RSVP or will send it late.

I made mine 2 weeks before our 50% deposit was due (4 weeks before our wedding) and I was still chasing people down to the very last minute. Lol. So definitely give yourself at least a week buffer.

I wouldn’t worry about it because your final payment will work out any differences anyway and you will only pay for those who attend.
