Briana, on August 1, 2015 at 3:23 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

Need Help..

Is 'Final Guest List' the people you are sending out save the date/invitations to? Or how many people you are inviting but not sure if they are goin to make it or not?

I have a list of people but just need to confirm what it means 'Finalize Guest List'.

Thanks Ladies..

Finalized list is who has said they will be there, a list to give to your vendors and to make a seating chart

Yes, After you have received all the RSVP's from guests.....your final count of people who have accepted.

When I say I need to "finalize" my guest list, I mean I need to decide exactly who I'm going to be sending invitations to. (And yes, I do still need to finalize my guest list - 3 weeks before invites need to be mailed =/)

It depends on the context. Final guest count for a vendor is after the RSVPs. Someone saying I need to finalize my guest list normally means figuring out how many people and who to invite. What context do you need to know?

To me finalize the guest list means that you have decided exactly who you are inviting, and no changes/additions will be made after. If you're talking vendors, it's finalizing a head count.

    Thanks Ladies...

I'm going to be sending out "Save The Dates" in a few months. I would like to have a final count before sending them out. No venders are involved. We are have the wedding at my future brother-in-laws hotel. We have a capacity of 75 maybe 80 (but that is pushing it).

Also, I do count guest plus one or just them? Count kids also?

If your venue can hold 75-80 that means everyone, plus ones and kids if you choose to invite them

I'm not sure I understand your question. If your venue can fit 75 people, then you can only send STDs to 75 people, including any kids or plus-ones.

If your venue can only hold 75 people... you can only invite 75 people. You will not have "final numbers" before sending your STD. "Finalizing your guest list" means you have decided 100% who is invited. Final numbers is the number of people who have RSVPd yes that they will attend your wedding.
