Filling out the dress...

@Samazing- I have worn the adhesive ones in the past when I wore a backless shirt or something like that. I can tell you that they stick very well. Me and my girlfriends would go out dancing all night and I would get super sweaty and they never came off. However, each time you wear them they get less sticky and a few months later when I wore them again to go dancing, they did kind of feel like they were slowing unsticking in certain places and I was worried it would fall off. That would have been embarrassing, lol. Anyway, if you only wear them once you should have no problems at all, I loved them. Oh,and they are not uncomfortable, just different feeling.

You don't have to do the silicone kind (they tend to be a bit hot); my alterations lady actually supplied a foam version, they were like 5 bucks, came in 3 different sizes. They're super light so no extra support was needed, they even sew them in under the lining so no one but me will even know they're there! Well, maybe DH will know when the dress comes off!

Thanks, ladies! I was most amused that she used "chicken cutlets" as her term of choice. I just stared out her, in trying not to laugh, so she said it again. Clearly that willl help! ;-) I had the general gist, but wasn't sure what was best for sewing into the dress or what have you. This definitely helps!

I had the same problem but my seamtress didn't use some expensive cups. Just simple cloth padded cups. So don't get sucked into buying some expensive gadget. The simple padding they put in bras will work. Remember, your gown comes with a thick bust area so it shouldn't show thru if they do it right.

A lot of bridal consultant do use the term chicken cutlets.. my consultant did too.

We were talking about those for my dress because of my lack up top.. I love right now that the dress makes me look like I have boobs but any slight movements, and because mine has metal stays in there to hold the form, you see right down my dress and my barely theres Good thing FH isn't a boob guy haha

@Kayla, thanks for the advice on the adhesive bras! The consultant at the very first shop showed them to me and Raved about them. I just bought a cute tank top that is all lace up the back which I wear a spaghetti strap under currently, but would be so hot if I just had the adhesive bra! I may need to go get mine soon

I am a full D and have had 3 kids, my "girls" are not at the same place they were many years ago. I wanted a bra that would add something so I could have a little cleavage. I just got a Nubra (one that self adheves to your skin) and not only is it hard to put it on evenly but it does nothing for my "girls", in the picture there was a big chested women and it looked perfect... I guess I cant believe pictures. Still trying to figure something out...

I had to have TWO sets of cups sewn into my dress to fill out the bust properly and I'm a DD! My dress is backless though so I'm not going to wear a bra. I guess I'm just going to be a knockout on my wedding day ;D

With my dress she is sewing in cups. I wanted to bodice taken in, but the seamstress told me that wouldn't be a good idea because of the detailing on the bodice of my dress. I think your consultant meant cups, because cutlets are silicone, if you want some extra padding (which from your post I don't think you do) you could shove some cutlets in for some more cleavage.
