Filling Bare Walls Behind Trellis

Hi! The venue gives us a trellis for the ceremony, but behind and around it are so bare! Does anyone have any ideas on how I can decorate without things being overwhelming or blend in too much that the trellis doesn’t stick out?!

Yess! I love this idea of columns with floral arrangements on top. Or some floral arrangements on the trellis itself. I would also look into renting out/buying a backdrop if you still feel it’ll look bare.

That’s great they’re letting you use the trellis!
As opposed to having to decorate the area behind the trellis, it may be a great idea to dress up the trellis so that it stands out more and becomes the main focus. When all dressed up, the bare walls in the background could actually help make it stand out!
I went on a Pinterest deep-dive and got a ton of inspiration pictures!
You could add some flowers and greenery to the trellis, along with adding them to the sides on columns. Candles along the base and either side of it could be beautiful also, and super cost effective!

Some venues have it, otherwise you can see if a rental company has any, but have you considered uplighting? You can do it in one or two or your colors and even though it's just lights it can change the look of the entire room. Or you could couple it with some basic floral arrangements, and adding the color can add new depth to the flowers!
