Fiance is 6'3" and I am 5'6" - What Size Heel?

Hey ladies. Sorry I have so many questions. I am in between 5'6" and 5'7" inches. I was planning on wearing 3 1/2 inch heels, but I am afraid I won't be too comfortable in them. If I decided to go with a 2 1/2 inch heel do you think our height difference would look odd? I'm not sure if it'll look...

Hey ladies. Sorry I have so many questions. I am in between 5'6" and 5'7" inches. I was planning on wearing 3 1/2 inch heels, but I am afraid I won't be too comfortable in them. If I decided to go with a 2 1/2 inch heel do you think our height difference would look odd? I'm not sure if it'll look better to be closer in height or further away (might look cute even, lol). I know there isn't a right answer and it's preference, just curious what others have done in this situation? Thanks!

FH and I have 1 foot height difference so I want a bit of heel but comfort is far more important!

Lol my fiancé is 6'4" and I'm 5'3". I'll be wearing 2 inch heels max. Maybe I'll get a step stool Smiley winking

I'm 5'0" and FH is 5'11" and I'm wearing 1.5" wedges. I'd go for comfort over super high shoes.

    We have a 14" height difference (5'3" and 6'5").

I'm doing probably around a 3 inch heel.

My fiancé is 6'7 and I'm 5'3, I've learned to embrace it! Plus, if you don't wear heels that high, your wedding day wouldn't be the day to start.

I'm 5'5 and he's 6'2 and I'm wearing a 4.5 inch wedge. I'm comfortable in heels and I wore wedges for our engagement shots and I'm glad I did. He didn't have to hunch over as much for kissing shots.

In my humble opinion, height difference shouldn't be the deciding factor in the height of your heels, comfort should. Smiley smile

I've embraced the 16 inch height difference between my fiance and me. Nothing I do will bring me close to his height, short of bringing a step stool.

I am wearing flats. We are nearly the same height but I would wear flats no matter what his height was to be comfortable.

Go for comfort! I'm only 4'10" and my FH is 5'10" so I had the heel debate, but in the end I'd want to be comfortable from the aisle to the sendoff. I went to a wedding recently where everyone was dancing and the bride looked uncomfortable and miserable and it made me so sad for her.

FH is 5'10 and I'm 5ft. I think my heel is 2-2.5 inches. There's always a huge gap for me. And I don't care about the difference.

DH is 6'5" and I'm 5'2" on a good day. I wore Toms. I wanted to be comfortable, but I also never ever wear heels so it looked normal for us. Whatever you feel good in!

FH is 6'1 and I'm 5'3, I'm only wearing low wedges. I don't want to be in pain the entire night, and personally I think the height difference is cute

I am 5'7" and my husband is 6'3".

My wedding heels were 3 3/4 inch but I switched into my comfy dancing boots before pictures were over (heel somewhere under 3 inches). The sample photos look really good.

Whatever heel height you choose, I highly doubt that it will look odd. Wear what you want!

Agree with pp. I'm 5'6 and FH is 6'2. I'm wearing flats because they're comfy and everyone ready knows I'm shorter than him lol

My gf is 5'2 her husband is 6'7 heels or no heels there's going to be a big height difference. There's really no getting away from it. Does it look odd? Maybe a little but what does that matter? You love who you love. Be comfortable. Don't worry about how others may view your height difference. Chances are they already know you're much shorter than he is. Smiley winking
