We are not writing our own vows...im not good with writing and neither is he...we found Native Ameican vows that fit us perfectly.

Your wedding officiant can provide samples of vows or you can do a websearch for wedding vows. And, yes, there are people who can be hired to write the vows for you.

We are definitely writing our own vows. Our vows are the promises we're making to each other in front of everyone, family, friends, our officiant... I want our vows to be unique and relevant to our relationship.

While we technically wrote our own vows, they were a conglomerate of other people's that we combined into our own. They are simple and rather traditional. To have a more personal touch, we are doing "personal messages" to each other. They are short paragraphs that can be whatever we want them to be. Easy to write and less stressful because while they important, they are the "omg, vows!"
